Been a while...

Between vacation and LIFE the past few days I've spent very little time at my puter. I'd say something about going into withdrawals, but I have a bandaid on the knuckle of my middle finger and just don't want to type all that. Instead I type all THAT. Nice. Anyway, I'm back from vacation, where I LEAPT off the diet wagon. I'm back on now, and my tummy is much happier with me for it. As for the boo-boo on my finger, I was messing with Chakra and she scratched me good...I have a knuckle band-aid on, but I'm still really limited in the finger-bending department (which is not good when it's your middle finger).

So tomorrow is Mother's Day. Cam brought home the obligatory made-at-school gift yesterday; a flower pot with a plastic flower taped to a Bic pen-very cute. And he picked a purple flower because he knows it's my favorite color. :) He and I bought cards yesterday and will deliver them either this evening or tomorrow-I'm not sure when. You've no doubt noted my lack of enthusiasm by now...I'm having a blah kind of day.

It started out in an amusing manner, however. It all started with a white shirt-I really should have known better, but I put it on anyway. I ended up splattering myself with tomato juice, but got it cleaned up quickly before it stained. Then there was the egg splatters-I had real eggs this morning instead of Egg Beaters, and the yolks got me. I got THAT cleaned up with little fuss. Then I made a joke about my coffee being next...within 30 seconds I had clobbered my coffee cup, spilling it on the table. I managed to miss my shirt, though, so I mopped up the coffee and went about my day. I've been spill/stain free so far, so it's been a good day.

Now I'm off to run reports...I'll bore everyone more a little later on.
