| It's all downhill from here... |
| Santa brought us an Xbox...well, technically Santra brought CAM an Xbox, but anyone that has children and is reading this knows how THAT goes. It's like a disease...Santa brought Cam the console with one controller and a racing game, then he got a SpiderMan game, and I got a wireless controller. I immediately sat down at my computer and ordered another game. Gauntlet, for those of you keeping track. Hack-n-slash, here we come! I stopped by a used movie/music/game place on my way home from work the next day, and found Shrek 2 for $18, so I brought that home. Jen went shopping yesterday and bought another controller (green, of course, and wireless, too!) and Lord of the Rings, Return of the King. We spent about 3 hours after Cam went to bed getting our @sses whupped at that game, and then I had to go to bed as my eyes were so tired of focusing on the TV they were constantly watering. I'm not sure when Jen went to bed-I heard the sounds of battle coming from the living room as I fell asleep around midnight. I'm going to stop by that used game place again today-he had one of the Prince of Persia games for about $18, and in reading up online yesterday I learned that two of the three Prince of Persia games are ranked in the top Xbox games EVER... So I've learned a few things...I'm geeking out and reading up about games online, and am spending too much time in front of the TV killing monsters and racing ogres and shooting webs. I'm sure it will only get worse from here-we're still one controller short of the maximum that can be used at any one time, so I'm sure there will be another trip to the store...and while we're there...... |
